Good Food, Sure to Please with recipes for 2 or 4 by Mary Lee Taylor. I’m not finding a date on this one, but it is another Pet Milk Co. promotional cookbook by Mary Lee. (Form No. 9670-1-3-55)
If you don’t know about PET Milk, it is a brand of evaporate milk that has been around for a long time. Since 1885 in fact!
Just what the heck is evaporated milk you ask? It is a dehydrated, shelf stable, canned milk product with about 60% of the water removed from fresh milk. Think of it as a good pantry item, perhaps along with powdered milk. I generally have organic powdered milk on hand for recipes since I don’t generally drink milk.
