Retro cooking is nothing without retro music. Well, perhaps that is an overstatement, but vintage lounge music goes hand-in-hand with everything this site is about.

Tonight’s musical interlude (at my swank cabin in the mountains, anyhow) is from the Bongos Lp by Los Admiradores, published in 1959 on the Command Record label. The album is a loungey trip of classics like “Tenderly”, “Greensleeves”, “Blue Moon”, and others… nicely done up in a hip ultra lounge feel…. with Bongos!
